This sweet girl has been with us for 3 years now not because something is wrong with her, she just gets overlooked as people focus on our beautiful golden retrievers. Brena is one of the most loyal dogs anyone can wish for. She is very gentle with kids and humans. Although she is quiet, very loving and sweet, she needs some time to warm up to other dogs first. She wants to make sure other dogs are not a threat to her. As long as the other dog is fine with her, she will become friends with them after a week or two. During the last 3 years, she met almost every one of our rescue dogs and made friends. She has no behavioral issues such as counter surfing, food and toy obsesssion. Unlike goldens, she takes her time to eat her food and is actually the last dog to come for the meal. She sleeps on her dog pillow, and likes to sit near to you while working or reading if she is allowed, otherwise she goes to her pillow. She is very obedient and follows the commands. She loves going for a walk and even though she had motion sickness in cars when she first came, she now she loves car riding.
